Our customers are more than a list. They’re a commitment.
What our Customers Have to Say – The following are examples of letters we have received from customers. I wanted to take this opportunity to again tell you what a pleasure it was working with you and your entire crew over the past four months. I've learned from past experience that the relationship between engineer and contractor can be difficult at best. That's not been the case working with Midwest Electric. The very capable and experienced team of foremen you assigned to the project, along with the entire crew, played a huge part in the success of our project. I just wanted to commend you and your people on a job well done, and to thank you for making my managers’ job so much easier.
Please know as well that we recognize and appreciate the sacrifice of extended time away from your own family to assist our community in restoration of electric power and safe conditions on public right of ways. I hope that in the future if your travels return you to the Lima area, it is under less demanding circumstances. Once again, thank you!
My name is Randy Johnson and I was assigned Feeder Boss for Circuits 141 and 143 out of the Gillis substation. Luckily for me, I was also assigned the guys from ME. I cannot say enough about these crews! They showed up every morning smiling and ready to work. And work they did. Everyone who came in contact with any of these crews had nothing but praise for them. That goes double for me. I made a lot of new friends and would put these guys up against anyone. Special thanks to Jeff (Dog!), Bill, Bruce, Nate, Larry, Mark, Mark, Dale, Little Ron and Big Tony. I can’t remember all 32 names, but the praise and thanks are for all. Your guys made my job easy! Thanks again, and may God bless each of you.
P.S. Mike and Seth were all right in my book, too! In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, my husband and I traveled to Gulfport, Mississippi, to help with the clean-up/salvage efforts at the homes of his family (mother, sister, and niece). When we arrived on Sunday, September 4, the only inhabitable house of the three was his mother's, and the power had not yet been restored there. We had noticed while working in the yard that the power lines going to the house were sagging close to the ground, and this concerned us. On Wednesday evening, September 7, much to our joy, the power came on in the neighborhood! While working outside the next day, we saw two power company trucks coming down the street, and we asked if they would take a look at the sagging lines that we were concerned about. They not only fixed the line, but they also trimmed a tree branch that was hanging close to the connection which they felt was a potential problem. And, they even offered us water! The trucks were from Midwest Electric. Since we're from Missouri, I wondered where in the Midwest they were from. I didn't recognize the area code of the number printed on the trucks, so I asked one of the workmen. He very happily told me where in Ohio each of them lived, and then he went on to tell me about your company. It was so refreshing to meet someone who not only enjoys his work, but also feels he is in the employ of a good company. I just wanted to let you know how much we appreciated the courtesy, efficiency, and positive attitude of your men. I know they made personal sacrifices to be there. I'm sure the working conditions were difficult and the days were long (and hot!). To you, your company, and all the men who were working so far from home … Thank you and God bless you!!
